La encantadora película animada en 2D (producida por Bento Box) está escrita por Bouchard y Nora Smith y dirigida por Bernard Derriman con Bouchard como codirector. Ambientada durante un fatídico verano para los Belcher, la película presenta las voces de Kristen Schaal, H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, Zach Galifianakis y Kevin Kline regresando para sus papeles en la pantalla grande.
